Requirements engineering is one of the most important aspects of the development process. Requirements are one of the primary means of communication between a client and the development organization. They define what the client wants and what the organization is committed to provide. In addition, they define what the system’s capabilities will be, including those of its sub-systems and various components. The system’s design and tests will be carried in accordance with these exact requirements.
The objective of this workshop is to give participants a general acquaintance with the subject of requirements engineering and the work processes that it entails, and an in-depth understanding of how to properly define the requirements and improve the quality of requirement definitions.
Workshop duration: one day
Target audience: project managers, systems analysts, system architects, team leaders
The workshop follows the following agenda:
Prerequisite knowledge: two years of development experience in systems development (in any role)
