Using Atlassian tools for your requirements management allows you to have a single unified platform supporting your entire ALM process. The ability to connect requirements at different levels (MRD>PRD>SYSTEM>HW/SW….) to your implementation/development tasks, tests and test executions, releases and delivery cycle – provides a new way to implement agility while maintaining traceability, tracking, and compliance.
Using Confluence and our JCreate addon, users enjoy a document like content creation experience, maintaining creativity and ease of use, while integrating strict metadata management and requirements creation rules aligned with your exact needs.
Confluence feature rich editor provides Architects and System Engineers with the tools to create content that combines text, multimedia, diagrams, formulas, office docs and more - improving on the ability to explain all aspects of requirements and design.
With Jcreate, users create a Jira Issue from each requirement while having expanded use of Jira’s powerful screen and field configurations – all integrated within the Confluence editing experience. Jcreate allows system Admins to decide on requirements type, metadata fields, and mandatory fields.
A requirement in a Confluence page is represented as a Jira Issue for further use and traceability. But how can the Jira user see the Confluence requirement content details while working in Jira? The C4J addon enables this by embeding the Confluence view directly into the Jira issue. This allows the user to read and comment on requirement content right from the Jira Issue view or Jira Board view, providing a streamlined user experience.
A critical view for Requirements Management is a tabular, grid like view. We automatically generate a Structure (by ALM Works) view per release or product. This allows users to see a fully traceable tree from marketing requirement to test execution and defects. This view also allows users to edit the metadata in a classic table, while enabling filtering by metadata, adding formulas, saving different custom views and more – bringing best of breed data view to your users.
While we can integrate all known test management platforms, we provide integrated test management solutions using Xray or TM4J addons. Test management enables your test and validation teams to create tests (manual or automated), organize tests by test tree, create test plans, and execute tests. All tests, planning and executions can be linked to specific requirements providing clear coverage and traceability.
Automated tests are represented by Jira test entities. Reporting on test execution processes are accomplished using simple REST API calls or Jenkins addons. This allows for management of both fully automated and hybrid (manual/automated) solutions.
Generate integrated full traceability view showing requirements coverage, implementation and development, tests and defects, constantly updated to reflect your true status.
A change in content of any requirement triggers a change review process that includes a clear suspected change indicator to the entire value chain. This ability ensures that quality is maintained and changes are well managed.
Manage regulatory requirements compliance using a set of templates and fields, process logic (Conditions, Validations), and filtered dashboards and views. Ensure that a V model is implemented by presenting test coverage on each requirements level.
