Assisting Matan
On the initiative of company management and employees, Methoda contacted the social organization, Matan, so as to participate and volunteer in one of Matan's long term social projects.

Matan: Your Way to Give
In 2002, Methoda and Matan coordinated together to formulate a continuous voluntary program for its employees. Divided into two parts, the project was led by and involved Methoda employees.

1) Financial Donation
2) Voluntering

Financial Donation:
Sixty percent of Methoda employees donated out of their own pockets, and Methoda, the company, matched their combined donation and granted the entire sum to Matan.

Voluntering:
Methoda 'adopted' a community youth club "Youth Support Environment" in Newe Yehoshua, Ramat Gan.

30 percent of Methoda's work force are involved in this project and an additional number of employees participate off and on in other activities during the year. For each weekly activity, two employess take part. They help the youth to prepare their homework and join in the regular club activities.

At the first meeting, Methoda donated two Sony Playstations. In addition, we also received (a donation from Microsoft) the Microsoft Office Group of programs.

In addition, Methoda organized a birthday party to all the children and granted them a Fox Time watch. On Tub'shevet, we organized tree planting and on Purim, we organized a make-up bonanza. We also took the kids out to a basketball game of Maccabi Tel Aviv at their home stadium, the Nokia Arena.

The youth club's darbuka group, which involves the entire group, performed at Methoda's annual conference, and we were impressed and excited to hear them play. The kids enjoyed it too.
